Q:  What does this page (the Results tab for Deals) show?

This page displays a list of available Deals meeting a user's search criteria.

Q:  What does the Call Now! symbol do?

The Call Now! symbol allows any user (whether logged in or not) to view a Service Provider's telephone number and address.  Down the road, we intend to be able to directly connected a user to a particular Provider via phone.  However, at this moment, we are only able to provide each user with the Service Provider's telephone number and address (the ability to connect two parties via phone is still a work in progress).

Q:  What do the stars mean?

Stars are used to represent a Member's reputation.  NotAProblem uses a four star rating system.  The more stars, the higher the reputation.  The stars (Reputation) are calculated based on reviews from Members.  On this particular page, the stars represent a Service Provider's reputation and are calculated based on reviews from Buyers who have previously hired Service Providers.

Q:  What do the dollar signs mean?

Dollar signs are used within the NotAProblem system to indicate two completely separate things.  Sometimes, dollar signs imply cost.  The more dollar signs, the higher the cost for a given Provider's service.  Other times, dollar signs suggest a sense of value, the intersection between the cost of a Service Provider's Deal and the work (both quantity & quality) received by a Buyer.  The more dollar signs, the better the value for a given Provider's Deal.  NotAProblem uses a four dollar sign rating system to distinguish between Service Providers.  The dollar signs (price) are calculated based on reviews from Buyers who have previously hired Service Providers.  On this page, the dollar signs are used to represent the value of the Deal.

Q:  What does distance mean?

Distance is the number of miles a user's inputted zip code is away from the deal (most often the location of the Service Provider).

Q:   Am I able to sort my results?

Yes.  You can sort by Reputation, Value, and Distance.  Hover the mouse pointer over one of the column headings and it will change to a hand.  Once the hand is visible, click your mouse and your results will sort by the column heading you selected.

Q:  What happens when I click on a Deal?

When you click on a Deal you will be taken to the details page for that particular Deal.  If you are not logged in, your view is limited to the details of that Deal, other Buyers who have taken the Deal, any questions and answers from Service Providers to Buyers regarding the Deal, and the Provider's Gallery page with visual representations/examples of their Deal.  Once logged in, you will also be able to ask the Service Provider public and private questions, bookmark the page, and send friends a link to that page.  If you are a logged in Buyer, you will also have the ability to accept the Deal (this functionality is not available to logged in Service Providers).

Q:  Sometimes the bottom of the page displays a series of green numbers.  What do they mean?

If green numbers appear at the bottom of the page, this indicates that there are additional Deal pages.  Click on any of the numbers, or use our Next and Previous buttons, to navigate through the pages of Deals.
